Another Graduate for SCC

South Caernarfon Creameries has appointed Sabel William in the role of Assistant Analyst/Accountant. Local girl Sabel, from Nefyn, joins Wales’ largest farming co-operative having recently graduated in Mathematics from the University of Liverpool. This new role will be intrinsic for internal planning and will focus analysing data and costings.

Sabel William said: “I am really pleased to be joining South Caernarfon Creameries at an exciting time, just weeks from when we open the new cheese production facility. I was so pleased to join a local company that has such as good reputation. As an undergraduate I completed a placement at a microbrewery and that gave me a taste to work in the food industry. This role really plays to my strengths and interests of data analysis and numerical skills. It will also enable me to develop and learn, especially in the fields of accounting and IT.”

Alan Wyn-Jones, Managing Director at South Caernarfon Creameries said “This is the second graduate appointment that we’ve made in recent months. We have ambitious and exciting plans so we are strengthening our team in order to ensure that the business has the right people in place to help us to deliver our objectives. We are particularly supportive of recruiting local young talent that have the skills required to help us meet the ever changing challenges of the future. We identified that we needed to strengthen our finance team, and as we will be opening our new cheese production facility in coming weeks, the additional data analysis that Sabel will be undertaking will be vital to ensure an efficient, smooth-running operation. Sabel will prove to be a key member of the team”.
