Breakfast Week

South Caernarfon Creameries was pleased to support “Breakfast for All” organised by the Farmers Union of Wales to raise money towards The British Heart Foundation Wales. Cheese and butter was provided for the breakfasts during the event which were served at five farms in North Wales during breakfast week at the end of January.

The Creamery provided Dragon Welsh salted butter to slather lavishly onto thick crusty toast and fresh bread. Dragon Welsh Cheese also complemented the traditional breakfasts and proved to be a real hit.

Breakfasts were prepared on two of our members farms: Madryn Isa and Mur Clwt Lloer in Lleyn and Eifionydd. As well as the British Heart Foundation Wales, both these breakfasts also raised money for SANDS – Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity and DERWEN – Disabled Children & Children with additional needs chartities.

Peredur Williams, Farm Lisiaon Manager said “We were really pleased to support Farmers Union of Wales initiative and donate products to help provide a hearty and tasty Welsh breakfast. The events were held at a couple of our members farms so it was good to be able to support them too. We are pleased to have played a small part in helping to support such worthwhile charities and it was fantastic to hear that over £5,500 was raised in total during the week.”
